ASHE Bluegrass Receives Charter

A new section of the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) was chartered June 1 in Lexington, KY. 

It's called the Bluegrass section and joins the Derby City section as the second section in Kentucky; it's the seventh section in ASHE's Great Lakes region, which also includes Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois.


Pavoni Named Manager of GRW's Louisville Office

Joe Pavoni, PE, LEED AP, has been promoted to manager of GRW's Louisville office. Joe has been with GRW for 14 years and has more than 18 years of experience. He earned his Master's and Bachelor's degrees in civil engineering at the University of Kentucky.

Clifton Heights Underground Wet Weather Storage Makes News

Louisville-based CBS station WLKY reported on a project GRW designed for the Louisville-Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District. The Clifton Heights Wet Weather Flow Storage and Pumping Facilities is one of several wet weather storage facilities the Louisville MSD is "building throughout the city to avoid raw sewage from mixing with storm water during heavy rains."


ACEC Indiana Recognizes Three GRW Projects

GRW Announces New Leadership

GRW, one of the largest engineering, architecture, and geospatial consulting firms based in Kentucky, has appointed Brad Montgomery, PE, as its new president. Joining the firm in 1982, Montgomery was named a vice president in 1998, and placed in charge of GRW’s Louisville office in 2003.


Construction Underway on Berea College Forestry Outreach Center

A new facility on the campus of Berea College in Berea, KY, is being promoted not only as an educational space that benefits the college, but one that also helps teach the community, including elementary and high school students, about the Berea College Forest.
