Martin Campbell Field, Copperhill, TN
GRW is providing engineering and architecture services for improvements at Martin Campbell Field in Copperhill. The airport has a single paved, 3,500-foot by 75-foot runway connecting about one acre of aircraft parking apron. The facilities at the airport consist of a Fixed Base Operator, terminal building, individual and conventional storage hangars, fuel pumping station, and an auto parking lot.
Services under this contract included preparation of plans, specifications and contract documents for rehabilitation of the runway, taxiway, and apron, as well as construction of a new 10-unit T-hangar. Other services provided were environmental assessments, construction management, and resident observation/construction inspection.
